that stupid alarm. it goes off and you know your body's not ready to get up. your muscles restrict any physical movement. you give up, feeling your legs twitch in victory. it's a day like any other. nothing special's gonna happen... nothing amazing is gonna come your way. you're just another joe in the world.

that's life. you figure there's no point in changing. you wear the same drab shirts every day. the same brand of underwear everyday because you figure it doesn't matter. cashmere cardigans? what a waste of money. banana republic's good enough--j. crew's too overrated. that's life.
